New Year 2013
In new years eve I was with my family and we had friends over for a dinner, we discussed and played domino all together. We sent some beautiful fireworks from our yard, and then we all went to the center of Helsinki. Unfortunately we were late from the new year’s concert. After the countdown I hugged my parents and siblings so tight, family is important to me ! It was raining a lot but we enjoyed watching some fireworks :)
Trip to Tallinn - part 2
Trip to Tallinn - part 1
I went on a cruise to Tallinn the capital of Estonia for the first time, it was a great experience, and I learned new things about the Scandinavian countries. It took only 3 hours to across the Baltic Sea from Helsinki with a boat named Baltic Princess. It was a calm and neat boat. The buffet had astounding food, from seafood to Mexican food, Italian pasta, all kinds of meat and sauces. As desert cakes, ice cream, chocolate mousse, candies and it took a while to think what drink should be tasted first.
In the morning I went walking around the center. I had no problem with the language because they could understand and some of them even spoke Finnish. I was kinda surprised but after all they have Finnish channels and our languages are related. I took a look at the old city. Music was playing everywhere, but what stayed to my mind was Traditional Irish music. Shopping was cheaper than in Finland so I bought some souvenirs, and got back to the boat.
